Pole Camera” mounts and adapters

I was asked by Darrel Klassen (Sand Diego, CA) of Pro Motion Event Photography to build him a pan/tilt/gimbaled camera mounting system for his wonderpole that he had just ordered. Since I was working on pan camera mount, I took up the challenge. Using my large AP series camera mount for the camera mount, I added options suited to his requirement (wide base and top bar for switch), I put together a lightweight system with 360 pan. this is standalone unit designed to be completely wireless and stand alone, and it will do 360 pan at about 7sec per revolution. weight was very much a concern, as 30'+ pole can be very unwieldy, so I took care to minimize weight. (DK's system without camera and pole with radio/etc came out to be about 10oz) Due to variety of pole, bayonet type adapter has to be custom made for each pole. we do sell our system with or without pole adapter. Using wonderpole, I provided a simple plug bayonet type adapter and secured with single hole and screw. I have standard adapters available for wonderpole(to 40'), Birdshot 55' pole , and 1" id adapter as standard model. Hotstick(40') universal adapter and custom sized adapter is also available for extra cost. Polecam has various AP application both indoor and outdoor situation, as well as application for wildlife photo/observation as well as temporary surveillence use. We have since updated all our polecam mounts, and they come standard with stock tripod adapter. Pano cam is also coming. .

Pole adapter is available for wonderpole, 1" and 1/4-20 threaded for standard tripod. One is inlcuded so please specify. if you desire a custom sized adapter click on the custom diameter and specify there is $10.00 extra fee for custom size adapter.
